Congratulations, I'm confident you will make the trip without issue. I can't wait to actually see the car in person.
You are welcome to join Joe and I in the Southside Buggista camp. We will also have our own reserved club parking/show area, closer to the action, you are more than welcome to park with us.
Have a safe trip.

Jerry, Thanks for the vote of confidence. Wish I felt the same confidence you feel in us. Our last trip taught us that stuff can go south in an instant.

I believe Tom said we would stay with the DBA group for the build. We'll have to set aside time to visit and share a toast.

Kathleen

You should have given us ol' style guys some photos of your work, so we could drool a little.
I am glad to hear of the progress you have made. hope to see you all again someday

Hi Jim!

We have posted pictures on the Austrailian manx club site. It's easier to use their format as you don't have to resize the photos so we post there. The car isn't totally together yet and we have a few bugs to iron out. There's no interior, No wheels on, the pods aren't on, hood's not latched and roof isn't on. Those shouldn't take too long to do. It's the last bug or 2 that will be the problem.
Here is the link to the website with the build pictures. www.manxgallery.org/gallery/album437

Use the surfboard word sparingly. It is really a cross between a boogie board and a surfboard. It has a soft top, sides & inside with a hard bottom.

It is held on with 2 of the existing bolts that hold the sheet metal part that connects the roof to the hydralic shocks. I made a 3rd hole near the rear of the roof. Being just for looks, it is not something we remove often, so this works for us. Tom
