Congratulations Bob! Have you decided on how you are going to build it; street, off road, or dual?

Thumbs up Congratulations

WooHoo! Another Manxter owner! Welcome to the club! I'd like to think I influenced that decision, but I know better....

If you need any help along the way give us a shout. We'll help with what we can. I love the smell of freshly drilled fiberglass.... I can smell it now... Oh wait! That's in MY garage! hahahaha

Good luck with the budget! It is very ea y to find thing you would like for the buggy. And after seeing the Resorter, I know your standards are high. Now we know why the Resorter was for sale.

I'd love it if you had a gallery so we could follow the build.

When will you recieve delivery of the body?

Kathleen

thanks everybody, Im watching Kathleens buggy transformation and its looking pretty temping to go subi.
I have a real good friend here that is a subi nut and he is very helpful in tech support dept.
So building a subi might not be out of the question.

Warning: I will change my mind at least a thousand times before its over.

well after sitting in the garage since April, I decided its time to build.
after 3 days of non stop work, Ive installed a 002 bus tranny with the shifter in the tunnel, new floor pans, new brake system, cleaned and painted everything and bolted the body, side cargo pods and roll cage on.

Thumbs up Nice progress

Nice work Bob. Your Manxter looks great already. I ordered a red Manxter kit about a month ago and I am SO EXCITED! It's hard not to call Winnie every day to check up on the progress. Where are you building yours and did you decide Subi or VW?
